A limited-edition merchandise collection, a Bicycle Poker Run and an engaged Huntington Beach community helped HB Riviera raise $600 for Robyne’s Nest.
To celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, HB Riviera created something that felt both historic and distinctly local.
The community launched a limited-edition America 250 merchandise collection, hosted its Bicycle Poker Run on June 27 and invited supporters to participate in person and online throughout the weekend.
Together, the HB Riviera community raised $600 for Robyne’s Nest, a Huntington Beach nonprofit supporting homeless and at-risk youth in Orange County.
A Local Community's Take on America’s 250th
HB Riviera used the milestone to create a celebration rooted in the personality of its Huntington Beach community.
The limited-edition collection brought America’s 250th anniversary together with HB Riviera’s recognizable local identity. The merchandise gave supporters something special to wear, share and keep as a reminder of the occasion.
It also became part of a larger community experience.
Bikes, Merchandise and Community
The HB Riviera Bicycle Poker Run brought neighbors together for a day of bikes, local stops and friendly competition.
The HB Riviera America 250 Limited Edition merchandise helped create a visual identity for the event and gave supporters another way to participate. Those who could not attend in person could still support the campaign by purchasing HB Riviera merchandise online through Choose Homegrown during the fundraising weekend.
By connecting the live event with online sales, the campaign reached beyond a single day and gave more members of the community an opportunity to take part.
Turning Participation Into Local Impact
Through the Bicycle Poker Run and related merchandise sales, the HB Riviera community raised $600 for Robyne’s Nest.
The result was made possible by everyone who attended, purchased merchandise, shared the campaign and supported the cause.
A commemorative collection became something people could rally around. A community event brought people together. Online commerce allowed participation to continue beyond the event itself.
Together, those elements created meaningful local impact.
HB Riviera Led the Way
HB Riviera was the driving force behind the campaign.
They created the concept, organized the Bicycle Poker Run and inspired the community to participate. The enthusiasm of HB Riviera supporters turned the celebration into a successful fundraiser.
Choose Homegrown was proud to support HB Riviera as its community commerce partner.
Choose Homegrown helped bring the limited-edition merchandise to life, made the collection available online and supported the promotional and commerce elements surrounding the event. This allowed HB Riviera to focus on creating a memorable experience and connecting with its community.
