#RydersFightClub — Standing Strong Together
#RydersFightClub — Standing Strong Together At Choose Homegrown, “support local” isn’t just a tagline — it’s a promise. And today, that promise means standing alongside a brave Huntington Beach family in the fight of their lives. Meet Ryder. He’s seven years old, full of energy, excitement, and daring stunts that keep everyone smiling. Over the last few years, Ryder has been battling pediatric brain cancer, a rare and complex disease that has brought surgeries, seizures, scans, and treatments no child should ever have to face. The Latest Update: Hope on the Horizon This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Ryder and his family received news worth celebrating: Ryder’s most recent scans came back STABLE. 🎉 His doctors were so encouraged that they extended the time until his next scan to six months — a milestone the family has never reached before. For Ryder, this means more time to heal, fewer exhausting hospital visits, and the chance to enjoy the upcoming holidays without the constant burden of tests and anesthesia. For his parents, it’s a mix of relief and lingering fear — because six months was also the window in which Ryder’s condition first worsened years ago. They remain vigilant, ready to act if new symptoms appear, but for now, the family is embracing this hard-won moment of stability. A Family’s Courage, A Community’s Strength As Ryder’s mom, Tara, shared: pediatric brain cancer doesn’t come with a manual or a one-size-fits-all cure. Each child’s path is unique, requiring parents to become researchers, advocates, and warriors for their kids. Through it all, the #RydersFightClub community has rallied around them — offering prayers, love, and tangible support. Every check-in, every cheer, and every show of solidarity makes a difference. How You Can Support Ryder Choose Homegrown is proud to spotlight Ryder’s story and honor his fight.
